10 Best Gaming Mouse for 2019

Best gaming mouse over dozens of competitive models from different brands listed below:

1. Razer DeathAdder Elite – Highly Rated, Well-priced/ Reasonably Priced Product

More photo & price on Amazon.com

This fast and highly tactile MOBA/FPS action gaming mouse has graced our list of the best gaming mouse with its sleek design and seamless maneuverability. The palm-grip design of the mouse allows for a comfortable game play while the scroll wheel was upgraded with a textured grip in the new version of Reviews of the Best Gaming Mice of 2018 Razer DeathAdder Elite.

We loved the subtle profiles of the 7 side buttons, all of which (along with the right-click button) can be easily reassigned using Razer’s proprietary software Synapse. Synapse has to be one of the top-selling points of this mouse. It has an amazing, user-friendly interface that lets you manage button profiles, lighting, Calibration, performance and so on with incredible ease.

The DPI of this mouse ranges from 100 DPI-16,000 DPI. Honestly speaking, the maximum DPI of 16,000 is nothing more than a marketing gimmick but that doesn’t affect the performance of the mouse even the slightest bit. The two buttons placed just below the scroll wheel lets you quickly switch between different DPI settings which is a massive plus point if you play games across various genres and game play settings, especially the titles in which you have to track enemies.

The top-side buttons are more soft to touch and responsive than the side buttons, we felt. However, the absence of a more advanced micro editor would be a bugbear for the lovers of two-gun FPS titles. Aside from that, you cannot possibly find a better all-around gaming mouse at its price.

What we liked

  • Quickly adjustable DPI.
  • 8 programmable buttons.
  • Sleek, palm style design.
  • Synapse.
  • Great for MOBA and FPS players.

What we didn’t like

  • Macro editor.
  • The 16,000 DPI number is merely a sales gimmick.

2. Logitech G602 Lag-Free Wireless Gaming Mouse – Another Top Pick

The ergonomic curves of G602’s palm-style gaming mouse would be quite appreciated by right-handed users who are accustomed to palm-style mice. The thumb ledge of the device is nearly 20 mm wide which, we found, to be redundant. Even considering the weight, the mouse is on the heavier side. So what makes G602 a great bang for the money?

MMO gamers will love the multiple thumb buttons this device is equipped with. The layout of the 11 (including 6 programmable) buttons makes for a very comfortable gameplay for both hardcore and occasional gamers. On the left edge of the left click button, you will find two additional buttons that lets you quickly change the DPI setting. The G602 also provides a lag-free wireless connectivity, see this online resources: WaterKayaks.com

Coming to the battery life. Logitech claims that the mouse can last up to 1440 hours on Endurance Mode and 240 hours on Performance Mode. The tester who was assigned to evaluate the performance of this mouse actually used it for extensive hours and reported that the battery life of this wireless mouse stands true to the claim of its makers.

What we liked

  • Undisrupted wireless connectivity.
  • Long hours of battery life and low battery indicator.
  • Very little resistance to movement.
  • 6 programmable buttons.
  • Can be set up in a jiffy.

What we didn’t like

  • On the heavier side.

3. Pictek Gaming Mouse – Runners-up

Pictek’s minimalistic mouse design and multiple side buttons make this device is a strong suit for both casual gamers and PC gaming aficionados. The two additional buttons located on the top lets you switch DPIs in a fly. This simple plug and play device comes with 7 programmable buttons and 5 levels of DPI settings, offering the max DPI of 7200.

To get started with the mouse, you will have to set up a software that’ll give you absolute control of the light settings, gaming profiles, button reassignments, DPI and so on.

If you don’t want to customize these settings, you have the option to simply go for the default preset colors and DPI settings of the mouse. So if you are in need of a fast and responsive gaming mouse mainly for casual gaming, this could be the one for you.

What we liked

  • Max DPI of 7200.
  • Lightweight and ergonomic design.
  • Customizable LED lights.
  • Preset colors and DPI settings.
  • 4 polling rates to choose from.

What we didn’t like

  • Operating the software requires some technical know-how.

The Logitech mouse lives up to its name for being a prodigy. The question you inevitably should be asking every time you encounter a new gaming mouse is- do we really need another addition to this already exhaustive list?

We are here to tell you that the G403 answers this question with a resounding ‘yes’. The mouse is aimed at users who wish to start out on gaming but do not wish to commit to high-end products.

5. Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse – Budget Pick

More photo & price on Amazon.com

It is difficult to place the G600 in a particular stratum because the mouse is a mixture when it comes to design and performance. It is definitely not the best gaming mouse, but easily one of the most reliable ones. The mouse does not have an exceptional design and is therefore easy to overlook.

However, what it lacks in terms of design, it makes up for in terms of performance. The most noticeable feature of the product is easily the multi-colored LED backlight. The feature pushes the G600 into a league of far superior gaming devices.

What sets the G600 from any other conventional gaming mouse is the button configuration. If you are into MMO (massively-multiplayer online) games then the configuration of this particular mouse is bound to impress you. Even FPS gamers would love the configuration.

The mouse has about 20 buttons and it is important for the players to configure it correctly. It may be a problem for serial gamers since they may be more accustomed to keyboards and replacing the keyboard with a mouse may be problematic.

What we liked

  • 12 button grids.
  • Fast DPI and unbeatable performance.
  • Durable.
  • Best suited for MMO gamers.

What we didn’t like

  • No wireless option.

6. Razer Naga Hex V2 – Ergonomic MOBA Gaming Mouse – Best Buy

7. Logitech G203 Prodigy RGB Wired Gaming – Best Overall

More photo & price on Amazon.com

Owing to the sharp drop in the price of the wireless gaming mouse, there has been a steady decline in the wired mouse segment. Understandably gamers prefer a wireless mouse for their better flexibility and overall ease of use. It is therefore commendable as to how the G203 comes into a titled market and creates a formidable space for itself.

The G203 makes no qualms about fancy designs and sports a classic black look that is easy on the eyes, and also on the hands. The mouse in spite of having a plastic exterior does not feel sticky to the touch. There are no sharp corners or edges and the mouse fits in compactly into your palm.

Some wireless mouses have a persistent sensor problem and this is the area the G203 tries to place maximum thrust on. The control is ever so smooth and the sensor is as good as it gets. Since the G203 is wired, there are no chances of the battery maxing out in the middle of the game. This is easily one of the best gaming mice when it comes to the wired mouse segment.

What we liked

  • Sleek exterior body.
  • Classic design.
  • Durable grip.
  • Minimal resistance to movement.

What we didn’t like

  • Wired.

The G402 Hyperion owes its success in part to clever naming and in part to some unmatched performance. The mouse is an absolute beauty to look at. The smooth matte finish complements the rugged look of the product and makes it stunning to look at.

The design is perfectly curved in a manner so as to fit your hand perfectly without any awkward edges sticking out or creating any hindrances. Since the mouse is made for especially FPS games, there’s a dedicated sniper button which comes as a huge help especially in games like The Call of Duty: Pacific Assault.
